Editorial Policy
PriceSnipr is built to make affiliate browsing more transparent and more useful. This page explains the standards we apply when organizing content and linking to Amazon.
Category-first structure
We organize the site by shopper intent and category rather than by random outbound links. The goal is to give visitors enough context to understand what kinds of products a page covers before they click away from the site.
Affiliate disclosure
PriceSnipr may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made after a visitor continues to Amazon through an affiliate link. We aim to place disclosure in visible areas of the site rather than hiding it behind vague wording.
How we evaluate deal relevance
- Whether the product type fits the category and a real shopper use case
- Whether the current pricing appears meaningfully better than a typical non-sale price
- Whether the item is understandable enough to compare before clicking out
- Whether the page adds browsing value instead of acting as a thin redirect layer
What we avoid
- Misleading discount claims with no useful context
- Hidden affiliate intent
- Pages that exist only to force an outbound click with no shopper value
- Unsupported health, performance or savings claims
